1. Association Tuition (2007-08)

Level One: Congregations commit $2100 (same as 2004-2005) for the student on the back of the 2007-2008 Registration Card to be billed to the Congregation during the 2008 Calendar Year (or quarterly for new LHSA Congregations).  Level One has an even greater benefit for parents of the congregation.  Level One Parent Tuition will be $4510, which includes a discount benefit of $620 to encourage Congregations to stay at this level.

Level Two:  Congregations commit to $1600 (same as 2004-2005) for the student on the back of the 2007-2008 Registration Card to be billed to the Congregation during the 2008 Calendar Year (or quarterly for new LHSA Congregations).  Level Two Parent Tuition will be $5260, which includes a discount benefit of $370 for Congregations that attain Level Two.

Level Three:  Congregations commit to $1100 (same as in 2004-2005) for the student on the back of the 2007-2008 Registration Card to be billed to the Congregation during the 2008 Calendar Year (or quarterly for new LHSA Congregations).  Level Three Parent Tuition will be $5910, which includes a discount benefit of $220 for Congregations that attain Level Three.

Level Four:  Congregations commit to $600 (same as 2004-2005) for the student on the back of the 2007-2008 Registration Cards to be billed to the Congregation during the 2008 Calendar Year (or quarterly for new LHSA Congregations).  Level Four Parent Tuition will be $6460, which includes a discount benefit of $170 for Congregations that attain Level Four.

Level Five:  Parents pay the entire $7230 or $602.50 per month minus any designated student aid funding from their Lutheran Congregation plus an Activities Fee of $200 per student ($16.67/mo.).

Level Six:  All others-Parents pay $7230 or $602.50 per month plus an Activities Fee of $200 per student ($16.67/mo.).

 

2. Registration Fees

  $100 prior to 1/31/08
  $150 prior to 2/28/08
  $200 prior to 4/30/08
  $250 prior to 6/30/08 (After 6/30/08, the applicable tuition would also be required.)
  $300 prior to 8/15/08
  $350 after 8/15/08

This fee is to accompany the registration card. The registration process is essential for the school to do advance planning, and it sets the order in which students can select their courses. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and cannot be applied towards tuition or another account.

3. Student Tuition Aid

These financial grants are determined by the family's need and are available to all students. Families with more than one student in a LHS are strongly encouraged to apply for Financial Aid. The Student Aid Form must be submitted by 4/15/2006. An analysis of the detail and tax return verification is used to determine the need factor (as done on the college level). This form is available from your high school office or the LHSA Business Office.

4. Lutheran Grant

Available to non-Association students who are entering freshmen and have attended a Lutheran elementary school for a minimum of three years. The Lutheran Grant Form should be completed and submitted to the LHSA office by 4/15/2006. This grant is only available for the 9th grade year and is not renewable.

5. Sharing the Opportunity

Recruit a 10th, 11th, or 12th grader and receive $250 off your tuition. (The student that you recruit must attend the entire school year.) The Sharing the Opportunity Form should be filled out and submitted to our office.

6. Academic Excellence Scholarship

Entering freshmen students from all LCMS elementary schools are eligible. Value of the scholarship--Valedictorian $350 and Salutatorian $250. Your Lutheran elementary principal will fill out the Academic Excellence Form. This scholarship is only available for the 9th grade year, and is not renewable.
